Его выходное напряжение можно плавно и непрерывно регулировать в диапазоне от нуля до максимального значения. Индикаторное устройство предусмотрено для моделей TDGC2J мощностью 0,5; 1; 2; 3; 5 кВА.Модели серии AI широко применяются в промышленности, сельском хозяйстве и научных исследованиях и особенно подходят в качестве вспомогательного оборудования для таких устройств, как различные станки, транзисторные криволинейные регистраторы, телевизоры с проекционным экраном, а также аналитические приборы в нефтяной промышленности и т. д.

Can a Variac be left at a fixed output all day?
Not at nameplate rating. The carbon brush contact is rated for intermittent operation, so a Variac holding a fixed output for hours should be derated to roughly 60% of its rating, or replaced with a fixed-ratio transformer plus a tap changer.
Does a variable transformer isolate the load?
No. A Variac is an autotransformer: input and output share the winding, so a fault can put line voltage on the load. Add an isolation transformer wherever the equipment under test must float or where an operator could touch the circuit.
Can I use it on 60Hz and on 110V?
Yes. The winding works on 50Hz or 60Hz within its voltage rating, and 110V input versions are built to order. Confirm the input voltage and frequency when you enquire so the winding and brush position are set up correctly.
