- The efficiency of the DT/ST series is 80%. For equipment with motors or compressors, the starting current will multiply — always reserve adequate power margin.
- Pure resistive / electronic loads: choose a transformer with capacity ≥ 1.5× the equipment rated power.
- Inductive loads such as motors and compressors: choose a transformer with capacity ≥ 2.5–3× the equipment rated power.

What is the price of a DT/ST series step up and step down transformer?
Indicative FOB pricing runs from around US$ 9–16 for the 100VA model up to US$ 178–265 for the 10000VA model, based on 50 pcs per size. Your voltage combination, socket standard and order quantity move the final figure, so confirm against a current quotation.
What documentation is supplied with shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list and routine test report are standard. CE, RoHS and IEC documentation plus ISO 9001 records can be supplied as PDF for customs clearance or tender submissions.
Can you produce these units under our own brand?
Yes. Custom voltage, socket layout, front panel branding and packaging are available from 500 pcs. Send your specification and we will confirm feasibility, tooling requirements and lead time.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is 10 pcs for standard models and 500 pcs for custom OEM configurations. Standard production lead time is 15–25 days after order confirmation and deposit; allow 25–35 days for OEM builds.
Is the DT/ST series bidirectional?
Yes. An input voltage selector switches between 110–120V and 220–240V, so the same unit steps voltage up or down depending on the setting. This is what makes it usable in both 110V and 220V markets.
How do I choose the right capacity?
Add up the continuous load of everything you will connect, then leave headroom for start-up current. For resistive loads, 20–30% headroom is normally enough. For motors, compressors and pumps, induction start current can reach three to six times rated current, so step one size up.
Is there a fuse or circuit breaker inside?
Yes. Units are fitted with fuse or MCB protection on the input side, along with an ON/OFF switch and carrying handle. Sockets are optional and can be specified for your market's plug standard.
